This continues from my story ‘…In a strange land’. It’s set in the world of Ayralef, created by Jakethecardsculptor as an alternative reality to Karbo’s world of Felarya.

The character of Charles Starwind belongs to TheWiking2000. Drayla (seen briefly) belongs to Karbo, while Markie was created by Zoekin.

Charles certainly is a charmer. But I must admit, my first instinct is always to be suspicious of characters like him; too many overly-dramatic movies and TV shows, I guess.

Also, a dryad teaching open air classes is surprisingly funny to me.

Charles is harmless. He's just a bit disconcerting. (Or at least, one presumes... After all, this is the alternative version of the Charles we know in Felarya. He may be a bit different.)

Heh, a dryad's pupils would have to crane their necks to look up at her, but I'm sure she makes it work, somehow... :p
