STORY 1 Sophie, beautiful Sophie, dropped him with a plop into her wineglass. She had brought him home for dinner, but until this moment, she had simply placed him on her table, and allowed him to watch her eat. Not that he particularly minded. He was still uncertain what his ultimate fate would be, and the thrill of anxiety excited him. He had watched her eat - watched her lift that delicious looking pasta from her plate, up to those lovely, luscious, lovable lips. As his gaze followed her food

Aur?lie woke slowly, stretching lazily under the covers of her comfortable bed, the warm air of the room caressing her face in a gentle wake-up call. She opened her eyes, yawned, and turned her side onto her back. As she did so, she felt a weight shift with her, pressing down on her midsection. For a brief moment she wondered what it was, then the events of the previous evening returned to her, and she smiled, her smile growing into a satisfied grin which displayed her perfect whi

“Uncle Gargamel!”

Patsy -young, sprite, nimble, her rich blond hair the colour of sunlit corn flowing over her shoulders- ran from the horse-drawn coach to the door of her uncle's countryside mansion. It was a little smaller than she had remembered, but then she had been so small herself last time she came here. Its size notwithstanding, the sight of it, and the scent of fresh, clean outdoors air, filled her with almost childish excitement. There stood Gargamel, wai

The girl entered the caf? shaking her head, her long, dark chestnut hair damp with the droplets of a faint drizzle. The sky outside was grey, yet bright, and the air warm despite the mist of a fine rain. It was the perfect time for a rainbow, she thought she sat close to a window. A lovely summer's day. Her exams were over, and, although she would need to work during the holiday, she was looking forward to warm weather, sunshine, and an opportunity to relax.

She turned her a

STORY 46 - part 1

The storm swept the coast of Catapiran, waves lashing at the cliff faces and rushing up the beaches, dragging swaths of sand into the sea. The sky, prematurely darkened by thick grey clouds, released a drizzle over the restless expanse of water, and rumbled ominously with booming thunder. On land, a few bold nekos braved the weather to admire nature's tempestuous display. Locals from the coastal villages captured the rough waters on canvas, sheltered beneath large umbrell

STORY 46 - part 2

Hyane stretched and yawned, feline and sleepy, still in the haze of a comfortable drowsiness. The white-furred catgirl -the colour of her fur a purer white than her creamy bedcovers- pulled those covers up round herself, enjoying her slow transition to wakefulness.

Her blurry eyes, however, caught a hint of movement, just as the memory of yesterday's peculiar events impressed themselves anew upon her now conscious mind. Together, they jolted her out of sleepiness r

Amman,
Middle East, in the year 13079. A man, seeming in his mid-40s, was
heading home through the streets of one of the world’s oldest
cities. It had changed a great deal over the millenenia, of course,
but pockets or districts of ancient buildings had been carefully
preserved – authentic, vibrant remnants of various periods side by
side, still lived in, making any stroll through the city reminiscent
of a journey through time. Thousands of years of global peace had
ensured the protection of

“So… Will you
help me do it?”
He sat lounging on
the sofa, an open laptop computer on his knees, barely glancing at
the woman seated close by in the armchair. He was trying to look
casual. Though she was one of the few people who could read right
through him.
They were in his
flat, of course. He would only have raised such a delicate topic on
home ground, where he felt most at ease, most in control. Where Tasha
was his guest, a position that might inhibit her own domineering
impulses – a

The sparse forest
provided only meagre cover, for which the knight was grateful
nonetheless. To approach unseen was the first, necessary, vital
part of her plan. She needed to assess the place, examine the lay of
the land, and then formulate a tactic.
The
woods tapered off into a long grassy plain, a wide open space between
the edge of the trees and the tall brown mountains, with their ragged
plateaux and patches of vegetation. The mountain was where the
monster had its lair, of course. She had

“So…
Are you coming to Tiffany’s party this week-end?”
It was late
September, and already there was quite a chill in the air.
Particularly now, as evening had settled over the city. A dark sky
with lazily drifting grey clouds, far above the artificial glow of
the street lamps, their pools of light blending into one another
along the path. Adrian –tall, dark-haired, a little skinny, wrapped
in sensible warm clothes against the air’s chilly nip– slowed his
pace very slightly, and loo

In
the tranquil suburban public park, amid placid lakeside walks and
carefully tended flowerbeds, the dragon caused a bit of a stir.
I knew this would
happen, the dragon’s human companion
thought with a sigh, as weekend strollers and park-goers began to
gather round, curious and uncertain. She placed a hand in quiet
guidance on the dragon’s scaly neck, as he ambled peacefully enough
beside her. She hoped he would not get nervous, or excited.
She was a short,
slender slip of a girl in her lat

Standing in the
small entrance hallway in Rebecca’s flat, Alex opened the door, his
heart thumping with nervous anticipation, and gazed at himself.
The himself that he
was looking at gazed back at him, with a look of fascinated interest,
as well as of excitement.
“Wow,” Alex
breathed.
Not that he hadn’t
been expecting himself, of course. This was exactly what he had
planned. But until this moment, he had not been certain whether it
would actually happen. Whether it would actually work.

Jane woke up to a
loud thrumming sound.
Opening her eyes,
disoriented, she first became aware of who she was. A young woman,
with silky long, dark black hair cascading down her back, a smooth
pretty face, and blue eyes widening with confused alarm, as her mind
took in her situation. She was sitting, but not on an ordinary chair.
She was wearing a light, short skirt and a blouse.
Her hands were bound
tightly by handcuffs. Her arms were tied tightly to her back, by what
appeared to be… wiring? T

Cindy
hummed softly to herself in the shower, as the flow of warm water
cascaded over her body, cleansing and energising her – like a soft,
warm yet invigorating blanket on this cold winter’s morning. She
liked her
morning showers. Fairly tall, in her late twenties, she had a
healthy, well-proportioned yet fairly shapely build, and she could
feel the water flowing comfortably over each of her limbs, over her
chest and back, over every part of her. It rinsed her long blond
hair, darkening it

BZZZZZT!
Brian
woke with a start, gasping in a lungful of air as though he'd
forgotten to breathe when he fell asleep. It took him a moment to
realise what had woken him: the doorbell. It was less of a bell or
pleasant chime than an electric buzzer. BZZZZZT!
it rang again. "I'm coming!" he shouted back. He glanced at
the clock as he stumbled out of the easy chair. It was a minute past
midnight. He'd fallen asleep in the living room, with the TV still

I had been
babysitting Zoey for about five months. Since last spring.
Well…
‘Babysitting’ isn’t quite the right word, of course. Although
in some ways it’s rather apt. And there’s no adequate synonym, so
it will have to do.
Zoey Dardana was,
and is, almost my age. Late teens; she’ll soon have finished high
school. A cute, rounded face. Short-cut blond hair. Deep, dark brown
eyes – the type that look right into you, and lay you bare. An
adult, almost – at least in terms of years

While I put away the
pieces, she flopped onto her back on the sofa, her head on the soft
pillows, stretching out her legs again. The toes of her bare feet
curling in lazy comfort. She yawned, stretching her arm and arcing
her back a little, before settling down amidst the cushions. Her bare
tummy bulging over her midriff, still very full.
“Let me know when
you want me to drive you home,” I said.
“Mm, later…”
She wriggled a little to make herself more comfy, and arced again
slightly, ca

The
garden was idyllic. Tall trees provided areas of comfortably warm
shade, beneath their rich, lush green canopy. Their branches swayed
softly in a light, pleasant and flower-scented breeze. The trees were
spaced sufficiently to make this appear almost like a patch of
natural woodland, and to allow in a flood of glorious sunlight. It
bathed the entire garden in its warm glow, along with the garden’s
only occupant.
She
was quite a tall young woman, in her mid-thirties perhaps. She was

It was
about five months since Zoey’s birthday party. About five months,
therefore, since Zoey had tried to eat me.
I
mean, really
tried to eat me. Not just play-acting.
A
sensible, rational man after that would have stayed the hell away
from her. Which I didn’t, of course. I guess that says something
rather basic about me. I was obsessed. I was head-over-heels. Zoey
might not be the easiest person in the world to like, but she’s
easy enough to adore.
And
that evening, that party, the nigh

Her Royal Highness Princess Talyann, heiress to the throne of the Kingdom of Rurniar, yawned daintily as she slid her delicate feet out of her light sandals. She was feeling a little tired, but relieved to have the rest of the evening to herself, at the end of a long day. She had recently turned twenty, and she had been taking on some of the social and ceremonial tasks that were incumbent upon her position.

Today she had inaugur

The gardener hummed as he knelt down, quite cautiously as his knees were becoming a little stiff with age, and began to shovel fresh, moist dark earth down between the delicate pink and orange flowers of the flowerbed. It was raining, but just very slightly, a faint warm drizzle that felt fresh and pleasant on his crinkled face. All around him, the neatly tended castle gardens were lush and colourful with life.

Behind him rose t

There was a flash of white light in the void. From that flash, which soon faded into the deep cold blackness of empty space, emerged a single, battered-looking starfighter ship. The ship slowed, decelerating to an aimless drift, as the pilot assessed her position.

“Well, here we are,” she said with a grimace. “One of the pleasant tourist spots of the galaxy.” Ale’ann Trexx, a young woman in her earl

Ava allowed herself to fall back onto the soft fluffy bed with a sleepily contented sigh. She gazed up idly at the ceiling, and reached vaguely, without looking, towards her half-drunk bottle of beer on the bedstand.

A short slender black girl with short frizzy hair, she was wearing light mauve pyjamas with white stars speckled all over them. Sitting together on the carpet by the side of the bed, her friends Leah and Maddie were

“
Mmmn
…” Ale’ann murmured, half-closing her eyes with pleasure as she swallowed the last of the guards. He wriggled and struggled, hard, as her gullet squeezed him forcefully down, and he slid deeper inside her. She moistened her lips with just the tip of her pink tongue.

“Aahh…” she breathed, contented, as she opened her eyes again. She had
