Dreamweevil's ongoing story thread in the forums inspired me to write this piece. If you like UB stories and haven't been reading this thread, go do so, you're in for a treat. And some version of this story is likely to appear in-universe, as DW has been encouraging others to join in.

It's my first ever UB story involving interspecies transformations/furry stuff. Not due to any lack of interest in the subject, I've been wanting to write something involving centaurs for years. I just haven't had any ideas that stuck with me until this year.
Now there's this, about a dog breeder who has turned herself into a dog-centaur, and sets about breeding a new species out of her clients and friends. And sometime later this year, hopefully a comic about centaurs will also be forthcoming.

A story and a promise of a comic, best day ever! also, puppy-dom sounds awesome! Heh, there's an idea, a YCH to be extras in the comic.

Interesting thought, I might suggest it to one of the artists I'm working with if we need a crowd scene. I'm not sure this one offers much opportunity. Just so you know, the centaur comic's going to be one where you have to pay to read the whole thing, though the free version should still have one satisfying UB scene.

No, I'm sticking to one-off projects once StBH finishes. While I've enjoyed collaborating with RFD on that, it gets exhausting to keep writing chapter after chapter, and neither of us realized just how long it would take to tell the story we plotted out.
I might occasionally do sequels/related works to ones I've already done (Donutwish and I hope to do a follow-up to A&P of unbirth sometime), but I personally prefer that even those be able to stand alone to new readers.

So is Joe a girl dogtaur now? Or was that only in the dreamscape and he's still a he? You didn't really elaborate on that part. Any if he did become a girl, did all the guys become women too? I thought the main purpose of Jane turning them was to have her new species survive and thrive? They can't really do that if they're all women can they? Lol I'll have to read the thread and assume all of them can unbirth everyone else. This was a great story though! Wish I could buy your works though, all your stories are amazing!

She is a girl dogtaur, though she may not have realized it quite yet. ;). It makes sense in the context of the setting - I'll admit that I didn't go into detail largely because I didn't feel like trying to recap that part of DW's story-world that this is set in. :)
