I found these two of  Nalzindar's recent pictures so inspiring that I reached out and got their permission to write my version of what could have happened next.
Accidental Slip Up https://aryion.com/g4/view/566900
Accidentally Revenge

While I borrowed the images as a thumbnail for this, you really should go read Nazlindar's short stories with the original images (and comment) before starting this story, so that you get the background here.

Since Nalzindar established that the office where these two work is very relaxed about vore between employees, it seemed a perfect meet-cute introduction for a vorish office romance. The characters certainly agreed and ran with it, and the next thing I knew, I had a 6,200 word story written. This is what happens when inspiration and free time to write line up for me - I wish it happened more often. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the story!

Edit to add that Nalzindar's since drawn and written another scene with these two that fits perfectly with this as a postscript or deleted scene. https://aryion.com/g4/view/581087

Great story, only thing is the last three lines, specifically “found Karen found herself” it doesn’t sound right

Good catch, looks like I missed that on proofreading - I reworked that line a couple of times and appear to have left ghosts of a previous version. I’ll upload a correction when I can get to my laptop.

This was a great take on the story and I enjoyed how you managed to make it so different from the other ones. It has been fun to see what two different mind can come up with when writing^^

It was fun and hot to read about Karen's and Mira's fast evolving relationship and all the sexy unbirth that followed. And it was nice to see them tie the red knot in the end. Thank you for writing this :3

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

I loved this so much! I was about half way through it and I thought to comment "I really want to live in a place that has such lenient vacation rules." Then I read that such does have its limits, but still. I'd also really love to live in a place where physics looks the other way for fun like this.

The Romance was sweet and felt organic, even though our view largely focused on their sexual escapades. I loved how supportive their co-workers were. And how beautiful the ending was. I actually squeed out loud.

Thanks, I’m glad you liked it! Nalzindar’s original scenes made it clear that the setting was one where their workplace took employee disappearances in stride, so I ran with that, but figured there would have to be limits on people’s patience. And yeah, I wish physics and biology would be cooperative for this sort of thing, but that’s why it’s a fantasy. :)

I gave serious thought to writing out the non-sexual side of their romance in detail too, but decided that would likely make it take so long to write that it’d risk ending up in my “unfinished” folder for months.

Nice! You managed to have a number of similar unbirth scenes without it ever feeling repetitive: the relationship between Mira and Karen clearly grows and gets stronger over time, and it's a very supportive world wrapped around the story.

There's something special about this friendly competition between equals that's really warm. Nice job as always!

Making this story non-fatal? Groblek you are always the hero of the day!

Despite occasional forays to the darker side, I generally prefer non-fatal. :)
