One of three choice and all of them look about as dark as a pony's maw.
I really just wanted some good old fashion revenge but it never that simple, is it? I guess patience is a virtue. Let's agree to his plan. It's danger, yes, but so are all the choices.

2. He's said as much about being impatient, and seems quite sure he doesn't need us. I'm not inclined to think that's all bluster so I'm not going to put it back to him. Surprising him with the dagger is also pretty likely disastrous. This stallion was very much not who we expected... We're stuck with 2, as bad a choice as it is. If he recognized us that easily, we might need a change of appearance to go with the uniform...
