The timeframe referenced here for when a Dívčí Národ girl eats her first man only really applies in modern times of the main universe. In the high fantasy AU and throughout most of history in the main universe, a girl typically would eat her first man between thirteen and sixteen years old.

Hm? Upper class starting later than lower? Haven't been following this all that closely so sorry if this is a silly question, but this did make me rather curious. ^^'
Seeing this makes me wonder that are men more so hunted just for survival, which would explain the lower class starting earlier to survive or such, or are they considered a delicacy?
Or just in short, what is, if any, the reasoning for upper class to devour their first male later than those of lower class?
Thank you for your time ^^

I'm just going to answer this here. Among the Dívčí Národ, devouring your first man is a sort of coming of age thing. The upper class are also the religious elite and are typically given much more intensive theological education than the lower class. Basically, they're considered to have more to learn before they should become proper adults. Because hereditary religious offices typically go to the first born daughter, the age gap tends to be less pronounced for younger daughters of the upper class, though. In modern times, those younger upper-class daughters are more likely to go into business or politics outside the Dívčí Národ, using their influence among outsiders to make changes to benefit the Dívčí Národ.
