DotE Next Generation: episode 1: White sabre

This story is set at the start of a long era which is not covered by any stories in the Expanded Universe canon. The known (former) canon covers the events up to the year 44 ABY, and then begins again (briefly) in 137 ABY. My new series begins in 45 ABY. For the setting, I’ve drawn on elements established by the Expanded Universe canon regarding the state of the galaxy. I’m indebted to the various creators thereof, as well as to the people who patiently compiled it all into the Wookieepedia reference website. This enables me to fill the holes, and use my own imagination to tell the tale of a period of galactic history which we don’t yet know much about. As always, I’m using the original canon setting, not the new rebooted one. So the first six films all happened in this timeline, but ‘The Force Awakens’ did not. The galaxy, instead, developed in a very different direction… The characters of Luke Skywalker, Jagged Fel, and Jaina Solo Fel, belong to that canon. The other characters in this story are my own.
