Just in case it wasn’t clear that I’m furry trash, Rouge was one of the first fictional crushes i ever had, and i still feel that way about her now. So why not finally have Xodi get gobbled up by his Sonic crush?

It's a perfect storm of factors that caused that, really.
-The Internet boom of the late 90's, early 00's leading to a culture of, ahem, "unspoken quirks" being shared through the safety of Internet anonymity
-A must-have game targeted towards young people on the cusp of adolescence
-Boobs (That just happened to be on an anthropomorphic animal)
