Whenever I see you draw something I am astonished by the detail of it. It feels so out of line with most art I see around myself on a regular basis that I can't just help but feel inspired and amazed.

Dammit, Voraverit! I'm a biologist, not a physicist! Though... I used to know that from chemistry principles. Let me think... 1S2 2S2 2P2... The neutral form has 2 full inner orbitals and 2 in the 2P orbital, which gives carbon its typical -4 valence capacity when acting as an electron donor (proton acceptor) such as in methane.
