Damn your good writing! I did have some hope that Mirage somehow missed her heart, but alas, it was not to be. I am surprised to see you take her out of the picture, to be honest. It just leaves the poor lad here to ponder what he'll do now.

Though I detest her death, I can't wait to see what else you've got in store for the last few pages of this chapter and the ones to come after. Keep up the epic work!

It was pretty obvious from the angle at which the blade went throuhg that it was a lung shot, and that Claurias injuries were much more severe, if not lethal.
