What to do when your adopted son, a man-cub, smells so delicious you just want to eat him up? Find a substitute, of course. A wriggly, wriggly substitute.

Well it's better than getting eaten by Khan, he'd probably be a lot more rough

I love this. Lucky woman. :D

I had an idle thought today. The Man cub's sensibilities might not be all that delicate. He was raised a wolf, and at this point in life thinks he is a wolf. His attitude toward long pig might not be negative.

I also considered that Mowgli might try to swallow small prey alive because he's been exposed to multiple preds who do it including his three mentors.

Well, there is always the potential for a twist where Mowgli encounters some special magic in one of those lost cities he's always stumbling over in the stories.

Heh. Just had a vision of the expression on Khan's face if Mowgli got transformed into something capable of swallowing him whole, or if Mowgli transformed Khan into something swallowable.

That was pretty well written.
And i say this as someone, who normaly opposes the idea of preds swallowing whole prey, that should be way to large for them.

Well, unless the pred is a hugesnake, fish or frog, monitor lizard, orca or similarly large critter, and unless the prey is smaller than an adult human, large prey soft vore just isn't going to happen. It's just something you have to gloss over if you're going to be into unrealistic vore. 83

ENjoyable story I say.
I can kinda imagine Baghera and Baloo pinning the whole "eating humans" on Shere Khan.
