True in a way but there’s counters too, like in older days when man wasn’t quite secure in its placement, too much will cause difficulties to flee from danger, be it animal, man, or nature

I don't know if "caveman" era is the right time period for when this look was what society deemed desirable, but there have been times in history when it was. I think the best comparison is with modern signs of wealth. Wide hips are something independent of being chubby. You can have what would be called "child bearing hips" and not be chubby. Pretty sure this is, at least in part, responsible for the Victorian era fashion trend for women to have very wide dresses/skirts, even though they end up looking like bells.

Personally, I find chubby attractive because it seems more natural than the societal norm we encounter in advertisements and other media.
