Project policy is that once an animal swallows someone you do not try to get the person back out unless it's absolutely vital. Senior Project officials have been digested as a result of a moment's carelessness around a hungry pred. You do NOT put a pred at risk, they are very expensive to create, and "risk" includes trying to get it to cough someone up with drugs or whatnot. These same rules apply to Project preds under TSA control.

Rafa is well trained and under most circumstances very friendly and loyal, but he is well aware that he gets to keep his meals. You can check into the badger but you don't get to check out until you are good and digested. 83

Not the guy in there. He can't see anything, it's too dark. 83

Hehe, badgers just being on the safe side!

Ah, might I sign up for this? There's something on the small print, but I'm sure it's hardly noteworhty. How long would I potentially end up in a badger gut before someone helps me? As well as which end I'll be extracted from?

A talking badger is more strange than being eaten by one. Strange priorities.

Looks real tight and full in there!

It's not the badger talking but his human handler. I'm too lazy to draw the handler and zooming in on the pred is more fun than a wide shot. 83

Ah, my bad!

Interrogation by being shoved in a badger gut until you talk then? Sounds like it might work out. At least, the talking bit would. They're probably not going out the way they came in.

The way it works is that Rafa and the other TSA critters have sophisticated chemical sensors implanted in their guts. So if the perp doesn't talk before he is swallowed, as he's digested they collect a wealth of forensic data which allows them to determine where he's been, where the drugs he's carrying were made and so on.

Huh. Do they call the badger's stomach the 'interrogation chamber' then?

Nothing so formal. They do prefer for people to talk rather than get eaten since it's less paperwork. Either way works though. 83
