Room beneath the shroom, shelter till it stops, stay till the drizzle ends, mouse avoids the drops.
Trickle grows into a stream, leaf comes floating by, dreaming of the journey again, but better staying dry.
Patience is a virtue, wonder in the scale, Pocket waits for sunshine, or a respite from the gale.
We take the time to see the rain, as does a Pocket small, woods in wet, yet no regret, counts the drops that fall.
In tiny eyes, they see the storm, with patient given awe, then back again to find their friends, and dry a rain wet paw.

careful staring at mice too long has been known to drive people mad and cause them to make high pitched noises of affection

unfortunately there is only room for one under that shroom, but maybe he could hide under your tail next time x3
