Sometimes you're in a hurry and you can't take the time to utterly digest away every trace of your prey.
Sometimes, you just want to leave them recognizable to gross out others and torment their friends. <3

I imagine it is a pred that digests something within seconds, leaving tracers of their former selves behind like that~ Either that or a real mean witch.
