Ptera Romano thinks he's got his life all figured out. The young squirrel is going to the yearly life-or-death 'Survival Camp', where the predator kids are given free rein to hunt down the prey kids. A six-time survivor, Ptera's planning to go out with a bang during his seventh and last year... but a last minute change puts him on a different path, attending camp not as the hunted, but as the hunter.

Welcome to camp...'s parking lot. Tensions run high as a matter of course. (Whose idea was it to give the predator and prey kids the same muster spot?) Ptera continues to find that not everyone's happy with his new spot on the food chain... least of which people that were hoping to get their teeth into him.
