This is a commission done by  A0IISA that’s a full on character reference for my character Slime Queen Tina, or just Tina for short. Special thanks also to  ConsumptionZ for pitching in a touch to make this a full color drawing instead of flat like I intended. Can't argue with the results friend, like you said.

So here she is, my first and only slime character brought to life in art. There are a lot of things I could say about her design so you know what? I think I’ll say them. I remember a time when slimes, like the Jells from Monster Rancher, used to some kind of core in them that was essentially their brain and heart but that trend died out a long time ago it seems. It just bothered me a lot because I began to wonder how slime biology was supposed to work without the obvious core around to serve as the all-important foundation for the slime’s very existence was now absent. So I took it upon myself to make a slime like the kind I remember being fond of.

I also found it really weird only a few slimes have shown the ability to shift into non-slime appearing forms or jut remain the same despite having absorbed many other meals. Well I can assure you that won’t be happening with Tina. With her devious and cunning nature, Tina will not only be posing as a human quite often, but also impersonating as her victims when the situation calls for it in order for her to get more food or to get away from an unfavorable situation. Expect a lot of trait stealing and fusing to be happening with Tina as well.

Oh yeah, and whenever Tina absorbs someone she just spits them out as a brand new slime, referencing why she’s dubbed herself a Slime Queen in the first place. However, Tina being greedy and gluttonous, decides to just eat her newly created slime spawn again for maximum gains. Maybe one day she’ll decide to let her spawns come to be and actually wind up becoming a queen of them.

Oh yeah, there’s also this little backstory for her too. You should absolutely give it a read right here. And if you want a reminder of her first appearance in my written works, click here.

Nice work! I have toyed with the Idea that they could also be some form of translucent molusk that produces corrosive mucus. They have a complete molusk anatomy but its flexable and the same color/ transperancy as the rest of their body making them apear to be an amorphous slime.

That's definitely a very interesting and realistic way of handling slimes as a whole. You should definitely consider doing something with that.
