Since Conquered Worm is nearing its end, I'm about to join another Pathfinder campaign!

In her past, Reiko did a rather poor job of balancing her predatory desires with her human wants and needs, and ended up fucking things up quite a bit.
Leaving the abyss, she now seeks to reinvent herself as a kinder, gentler, less bloodthirsty mermaid, who can make real, actual friends, and not hate herself!

Reiko is peppy, energetic, and highly emotional. While a jolly cuddlebug most of the time, she runs hot and cold, and can snap into a raging, snarling beast in an instant - one of the many flaws she's trying to rein in.

She has a soft spot for children and animals, and has a somewhat easier time suppressing her wild side around them. Although violence is second nature to her, she has the same emotional needs as any humanoid, and is no stranger to empathy or affection.

Of course, that same savagery helps to keep her alive. When threatened, or even sufficiently upset, Reiko descends into a frothing, spastic berserker, ripping men, women and monsters apart with her bare hands.

While her tail is strong enough to support her in an upright position, her speed and agility on land are unimpressive. Though she can drag herself along on her arms, land-based combat usually requires assistance.

Her kind, while monstrous in appearance, are able to infiltrate ships and coastal towns by eating the flesh of humanoids, allowing them to temporarily take on the appearance of the victim. This is an ability she's trying to use less often, post-self-reinvention.

Comment on Reiko Drowning

Squidia: Be assured, I read every comment I receive, even if I don't always reply. I'm super awkward and don't always know what to say.

I like how she’s able to keep her little hat on(I think it’s called a beanie) despite being under water. Lol.
