This story is excellent in the descriptions (I really vould picture the mermaid in my head) and the phrasing (iy felt like I was thinking through Bradley's eyes with the word choice used). An artistically exceptional piece!

Perhaps it will hearten you to hear, then, that this story (and some of its morals, and the descriptiveness yet deceptiveness) lingered for a couple days on my mind after reading it as well. I kinda wish my writing had as much impact, but my writing by and large just seems to be (pointless/moralless) fetish material.
