Nephthys is an ancient naga who guards many of the sacred tombs in Egypt. She was summoned by mystics looking to protect the bodies of the dead (and by extension, their souls) from grave robbers. Like most naga in the region, she stays burrowed in the sand for warmth and senses intruders by the vibrations they cause. When close enough, she'll breach the ground, wrap her powerful tail around her victim and drag him down into the earth where he is consumed at her leisure. Her notoriety has earned her the same name as an Egyptian goddess of death. It's said the locals would bid farewell to each other saying "May you return with your hat", because when Nephthys drags a victim into the ground, that would tend to be all that was left.

she sounds more like a graboid than a naga in the leaves only the hat sense, but she looks very cool.

She's beautiful. And sounds interesting. I love that she's like, known enough they even have a saying relating to her and such, it's a nice touch imo.
