Another very nice story from you Plant, I love the sadistic, confident Agent 8 you've got here, and there was a nice blend with the hint of compassion in there. The move to willingness is definitely more my bag too from that standpoint, not that I'm gonna try and dictate your themes~

Reads well overall, with one or two words seeming out of place in the later scenes. Possible autocorrects and such but nothing flow breaking. And the tense seemed a lot more under control in this one with only two or three slips I noticed. Overall, great work ^^

As a player of Splatoon 2 and played the Octo Expansion, the main setting of the story, I say this is one of the best stories I have read in quite some time on this site. The main parts that were special were the details which were written down to a fine line. The story was easy to follow and the mental positioning in characters was nice. From the massive vocabulary and the variety of story elements added, this story was a great quick read for any Splatoon fan. Amazing work Plant! I can’t wait to see your next work!
