Whew this one took some time to write and edit but I'm very proud of it. It seems that I just can't force myself to do short stories when I have an idea or two I want to get done in the fic.
In this Growing Gluttons entry Velvet Scarlatina finally has enough and snaps, enjoying some comfort food whilst camping in the woods. Needless to say she experiences big results.
(Also we need more fat Velvet art "wink wink...nudge nudge")

Glad you finally got to Velvet. And hey, nice job writing Cardin trying to redeem himself. Most stories don’t give him a second chance and prefer to keep him as a stereotypical bully. This is a nice change of pace.

Danke, I mean all bullies usually have a reason for being so and most do grow out of it. I like making characters more complex.
And yeah it felt good to write Velvet again.

Also, I have to agree with you. There isn’t enough chubby or fat Velvet art/writing. It’s kinda a shame, she seems like she should look chubby.

BTW, are you going for a Velvet/ Cardin theme near the end. That’s kinda adorable. The former bully trying to redeem himself for his wrong doings falling in love with the girl he once bullied. It’s romantic in its own way. I wonder if that concept has been used before.

You have picked up on the implications. Nothing is decided yet but it could happen. After all, people can change and I'm not sure if that concept has been used before in RWBY fan works but in one of my favourite book series a pervious magic and nobility hater ends up marrying an empress who's also a mage.

I think I remember stumbling on a RWBY fanfic where Cardin starts falling in love with Velvet after she saves him from a training accident. Don’t recall what it’s called. Regardless, I really hope they get together in this series, they’re to cute not to ship here.

You know, given Velvet’s increase in confidence after this, I can see her noticing Cardin likes her big and starts teasing him with her weight to get him flustered. That’d be precious.

I hope to do more stuff with Growing Gluttons in the future but Deviantart Eclipse has really hampered my desire to keep on writing in general

here's an intursting idea. What if Cardin is getting bullied and Velvet decided to 'take care of it';-)
