I've been playing some Skyrim myself for the first time this last week. Still don't understand some mechanics of the game but overall it's really good. I made a male argonian. I still don't know if it was a good choice though, their quick health regeneration is good and all but turns out that breathing underwater is damn useless. I'm level 17 right now. Did anyone else play it and if so which race didja chose? I'm going after the Dark Star next, whish me luck!

Let's not have a lengthy Skyrim discussion here, because I don't want to distract from the art too much~ (Which I love!)

But Argonians are pretty cool. They are good thieves, and the underwater breathing is really necessary sometimes. With other races you would need a potion for these parts of the dungeons. (But very seldom. Don't worry, all races have some rather useless perks, for example Khajit get bonus damage when fighting without a weapon...)

You can't switch, you would have to start over. I recommend you to stick with your character, the longer you play, the less your starting layout matters.

The Khajiit's unarmed bonus can be really good, as the claw attacks are both faster and more powerful than most weapons in the game, plus you can get the perk that turns your heavy gauntlet's defensive value into unarmed offense, and then enchanting the gauntlets(and a random ring) with the effect you get from the Gloves of the Pugilist to increase it by 20 more points

On the other hand, the Khajiit night vision is almost completely useless, as the game never gets too dark to see.
