History
It is said that long ago when the dinosaurs went extinct and humanity rose from the ashes, mankind split into two races. The humans who evolved into who we are today and the “devourers”, later known as predators, who fed on these humans and every living creature they could get their hands on.
 
 
The predator race looked exactly like the other humans, however they were born with a special trait. They had the ability to swallow their prey whole and alive, but they mostly feeded on their fellow man. The devourers possesed great strength and ingenuity, far greater than any human. Followers naturally flocked around them. Eventually tribes formed and later came civilizations. The predators were seen as almighty beings and worshipped as gods. They lived in luxury, their bellies always stuffed with the finest of foods and the most exotic prey. Predators in history have shown to be predominantly female. While male predators can exist, they’re extremely rare and are often hunted down and devoured themselves.
 
 
Zenith City
An ambitious collaboration project funded by the United Nations to create an isolated nation to serve as a safe haven for predators, their families, and those who choose to live among them. An escape from the discrimination and hate from all over the world. Its construction was finished in the eastern seas of Japan soon after the end of World War 3, otherwise known as the “Vore Wars”.
 
 
Since the island is technically considered a part of Japan, many japanese predators and families moved there, which means a majority of the population is of east asian descent. However, English is the primary spoken language due to influences from America and european countries.
 
 
Other countries decided to hop on the bandwagon of Zenith City’s success and as a result three more island nations were created. Vertex City located in China, Ex Machina City in the US, and Neo Britain in the United Kingdom. Each island serving a different purpose, but ultimately strive to bridge the gap between humans and predators.
 
 
Zenith City was created with the intent of researching predators, like their behavior and potential for growth. Zenith University, which makes up about 20% of the entire city, is a public institution where predators from every walk of life can learn to master their gifts or where preds and non-preds alike could devote themselves to research. Many companies, notably Kofar Inc. and Seraphine Pharmaceuticals dedicate themselves to manufacturing clothes, accessories, and medicine specifically for predators of all types. Vertex City focuses on creating technology to make life easy for predators. Neo Britain uses unique laws in order to crack down on predator crimes. Ex Machina City is simply a tourist spot with far more lax laws on vore than the rest of the country.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Laws and Regulations
In a majority of countries, such as the United States, Japan, France, China, and Russia have strict regulations on predator activity. In the past, the act of swallowing and digesting a person can warrant a life sentence or the death penalty. Nowadays, there are arguments stating that a predator eating and digesting a person shouldn’t be considered manslaughter since it’s in their natural instincts to feed on humans. Repressing such instincts by force of law would only bring more harm than good. It was later decided that young predators would be taught to repress and control their desires while still in their primary and secondary education.
 
 
Predator licenses are a recently developed concept that ranks predators based on their abilities such as the strength of their stomach acids, maximum stomach capacity, and likelihood to digest their prey. For example, Yuuna Murasaki is ranked as a B-class predator because of her powerful stomach and short temper, but she has tremendous self-restraint and usually copes with her hunger by swallowing her boyfriend. The examination process to acquire a license is not just a physical test but a psychological one as well. These licenses can even determine what kind of job a predator can apply for. The licenses are equivalent to a driver’s license in our world, but a predator is required to carry one once their abilities have fully developed. Some blossom as early as middle school or younger while some others awaken to theirs not long after puberty.
 
 
A recent law had been passed that makes it illegal to digest children under the age of 13 after the young child of an upstart pharmaceutical company was abducted by a predator and rescued, not before several children were gruesomely digested. Children afterwards were either homeschooled or attended private schools with heavy security and regulations.
 
 
Vore in Society and Media
Predators and vore have become an everyday part of society and worldwide culture. In recent years, predators have dominated online and social media with the rise in popularity of predator idols, vore models, vore roles in movies and TV, and even video streaming. There are even jobs and careers that are catered to predators. Teaching, babysitting and childcare, modeling, and clothing are just a few markets that have become predominant for predators in the past few decades.
 
 
Inko Murasaki, Urina Makoshita, and Rika Blazeheart are just a few names that made a big splash and put Zenith City on the map gave rise to many of the current predator trends around the world.
 
 
The Yukimura Family
Around the time the predators dominated the world, there was a clan of white-haired people known as the Niveus clan who were said to be blessed by the gods with incredible power that can subdue any predator. Naturally, the clan was sought out by the predator overlords in fear of losing their power and the entire clan was enslaved and scattered throughout the known world. It was discovered that the Niveus had bodies that could not be broken down by a predator’s stomach, they were indigestible.
 
 
The Niveus were used as playthings, reusable meals that predators would snack on whenever they wanted. Most of them died not to digestion but to stress, starvation, or committed suicide. After the predators were overthrown, the Niveus vanished from history. Some escaped and aided in the rebellion while others sought peace and started families.
 
 
One of those families made a home for themselves in Japan adopted the name “Yukimura”. Shoichiro Yukimura with his wife, Mihara, and younger sister, Flora moved to Zenith City and lived happily as a family. A few years later Mihara gave birth to twin children bearing snow white hair.
 
 
Types of Predators and Biology
Like every human, each predator is different with their own unique tastes, morals, and personality. Some actively hunt for prey to digest on a regular basis while other only swallow their loved ones to safekeep in their stomach. In ancient times it was common for predator mothers to keep their children safe in their stomach while they hunted for food. Even to this day, most children under the age of 18 have a strong desire to feel safe in the warm embrace of a stomach.
 
 
A predator can be indistinguishable from another human female, but a usual telltale sign are their enhanced body proportions and appetite. Predators are physically stronger since their body’s physical limiters can be released almost at will especially when devouring prey. Their bones are thicker and their skin is more elastic. Since they can’t breathe while swallowing whole prey, they can hold their breath for a ridiculous amount of time which lets them even hunt underwater. Their jaw can freely unhinge and reattach to accommodate the size of an entire person.
 
 
A predator’s stomach makes up about 60% of their digestive tract, even when empty. The organ is 20 if not 30 times larger than a normal human’s and can expand as such. The average predator stomach can expand to the size of two or three people. The intestines are actually smaller in length, but has thicker walls and almost twice as much villi to quickly absorb massive amounts of nutrients. The anus and rectum muscles can also move in reverse which allows anal vore to be possible. The stomach acids are potent enough to dissolve and breakdown flesh and bone with moderate ease, in some cases even metal. Every predator is also able to consciously and, with enough practice, unconsciously halt the digestion process so they can eat people without digesting them. In this state, an air pocket forms which allows the prey to breathe so a human could survive inside a pred’s stomach for as long as they can restrain themselves.
 
 
Specialty vore types such as unbirth and breast vore can only be performed by predators who were born with the ability to do so. It comes down to a genetic trait passed down within a family. Unbirth especially is quite rare. Those who can use unbirth are said to be able to use magic. A magical ability that activates whenever they get a person in their womb. Most think of age regression or complete absorption, however there are a few unique abilities out there that have yet to be discovered. It’s also said that the ability to unbirth awakens or becomes stronger after childbirth, which means it’s more common in mothers with one or more children.
