The first born son of the IchIjo Family of the 21st century, Joshirou was raised with the intent of him taking full control of the Ichijo Zaibatsu when he came of age. While he accepted this there was one thing he couldn’t accept: his younger sister. Joruri’s delusional personality only annoyed him and the fact that neither his parents nor anyone else around seemed to mind her at all. It slowly and surely built resentment of her up within him to the point that in his teenage years he ran away and completely vanished from his family’s radar. From there on he went on to flee from Japan to the state of California and then from there wound up travelling more and more until he eventually reached Pandora City where he finally found a place to stay.

While he regrets giving up his place to take up the Ichijo Zaibatsu, Joshirou doesn’t mind the somewhat normal life he’s managed to amass for himself within Pandora City. Though if could land a girlfriend who he didn’t eat accidentally or intentionally than things would just be perfect.

Similar to his sister, eating unique beings can grant Joshirou benefits. Unlike Joruri who could become a dragon if she ate one, Joshirou eating a dragon would result in him growing scales, a tail, horns, wings, etc. And like his sister, he can control when these traits manifest themselves upon his being although he can’t control the fact tattoos signifying his traits appear on his belly.
