When you say view up to issue 8 do you mean the story or the comic? And how do you need to pledge to view it?

The comic is up to issue 8. Issue 8 covers up to chapter 9 of the original story, as some of the chapters are too short to cover in a full comic issue and some content gets cut or minorly altered.

And you must give at least $5 to gain access.
