No longer unemployed Posted 3 months ago
And I'm being paid more than before! Which means I can very soon resume paying additional artists for the Guts and Glory comic instead of doing only one at a time.

If you're an artist who is interested, check out my listing here. https://aryion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=99&t=55630&p=2749152

The more artists I can afford to get on board, the more work I can get done so this project can be maybe done within the next decade. :B What, you think that's crazy? I've already been doing this for eight years now!
Anthro New England Posted 3 months ago
I'll be there Friday! So, uh, tomorrow!

Very last minute plan. Had no idea this was even happening until I learned a friend is going to be there and decided "Fuck it, I'll just get a ticket so I can hang out with them!" If you're going too, let me know.
Splendid news Posted 9 months ago
Got a new job offer, working security again, paid even more than my last job which was already pretty good. Getting fired was the best thing that ever happened lol.

Due to the nature of the work it's going to be a couple of months before I can actually get started, so I'm just going to enjoy the rest of my summer. They gotta run a bunch of background checks. Hopefully nothing fucks it up before then.
Well, this sucks Posted 10 months ago
So good news and bad news.

Good news is I suddenly have a lot more free time to write stories so you can expect more stories. Also maybe opening up commissions. Maybe. (I'm also doing a lot of ArmA 3 themed around Fallout and Project Wingman.)

The bad news is the reason for that is I was fired from my job for what I strongly suspect was an illegal reason. So yeah. Anyone know any good labor lawyers in the Massachusetts area? Or hell, if you know any lawyers at all in or around Massachusetts. Lawyers know lawyers. I just need to consult with one to find out if I have a case to begin with.

I swear to God if I end up getting saved because one of you mysteriously rich furries is like a top tier lawyer that will be so fucking funny.

Regarding any paid chapters Posted 1 year ago
So as I'm sure everyone can plainly see, work has been extremely sluggish due to a mix of real world circumstances, other projects interfering, and also writer's block.

A reminder that if your order is not satisfied in 6 months, you are entitled to a refund, though it will obviously make me take you off the list of chapters paid. Nobody has actually complained but I feel bad that I have chapters waiting for LLitBC and Ouroboros that haven't been produced yet despite me trying to force myself to get into the rhythm for writing. LLitBC as a story isn't a huge interest to me anymore and I'm still trying to get it to a point where I am satisfied with leaving the story behind, while Ouroboros I actively want to work on but cannot find the inspiration for right now.

How in the HELL do I get postybirb to work?! Posted 1 year ago
Look I'm bad about remembering to post shit. And I have stuff I'd like to post.

But I tried to use Postybirb which I *know* works for Aryion, but I couldn't get it to work! Can somebody help me out in setting it up? Hit me up in DMs or Discord...
Artists, commission buyers, this is a PSA. (A repost mostly.) Posted 2 years ago
Been hearing about people getting scammed a lot lately. Here's how not to get scammed as much.

If you pay for a commission in advance, you have up to 6 months before Paypal no longer accepts a dispute. If an artist makes you pay in advance, and they don't finish the art within that time, open a Paypal dispute and demand a refund before the 6 months is over. For me, my deadline is 5 months so they don't rush the product and be like "hurr hurr see it's done" when it's actually complete crap.

If you're an artist or writer who gets easily distracted, sucks at time management, or otherwise frequently can't find the time or motivation to do a commission (like me), then don't charge people in advance. Charge them only once the product is actually done....

Call to artists, I have many characters that need drawing Posted 2 years ago
And I am certainly willing to pay for it. However, I've recently lost my intended source for what was going to be upcoming art for American Beef and Little Lamia, so I'm in the market for new offers.

Now I already have a post up in the commission seeking part of the forum on Eka's, but this post is targeted to specifically my own fans who happen to be artists, hence why it's in my blogs and not on the forum. I think you'll all do a much better job depicting my characters than some random person who has no direct interest in the stories.

If you would like to throw your hat into the ring for commissions, I've left a comment below that you should reply to only if you are an artist who is open to commissions, trades, or requests. Toss me a comment if you're...

Once again going to try to get LLitBC to a good point to call it quits. Posted 2 years ago
Not just yet, but soon. I'd like to put the story to rest. Maybe revisit it in the future, but mostly I want to move on to other projects in the meantime.

I'm also liable to be changing my pay rates soon because the cost of damn well everything has gone up and my commission prices have not adjusted to reflect this, which is a huge part of why I almost never do commissions. It's just not worth it, time verses cost.

My current plan is to end the current arc with Denyu, then put the story on indefinite hold. I might adjust my costs to continue it later, but right now I prefer to work on other stuff. I'm still going to at least do what chapters have been paid for and I am not stopping just yet so if you plan to pay for a chapter, do that now. If I find that I...
