Just the other night, m'boi Jax and I were talking about chubby Rin and what has been dubbed 'momma Pyra'. Apparently the thoughts never really left his mind, so when it came to doing a few doodles over the next few days... this was one of the results ;^^ of course xP

Rin is usually a boy with a seemingly bottomless appetite. Though I guess his sweet momma has finally found his limit, having stuffed up the dork with plenty of pizza. Probably some other food in there as well; hard to tell as-is (=u=)

Soooo... this requires some explaining .w. Much like Rin has his set of 'waifus', he's also got a 'momma' figure in Pyra. It's kind-of been a thing for a while now but this is technically the first drawn piece to properly show the pairing, technically :p (I did one myself but it's moreso an implication than outright shown; may or may not upload that one later)
As for why Pyra, I just love her kind and caring personality. Plus those who have played Xenoblade 2 can most definitely agree that she is pretty much a mother-type figure to Rex, which is shown fairly well in a couple of cutscenes. So for a fair while since then I've seen Pyra as a bit of a motherly person. Can't say much more than that without getting too personal (;=w=)

Another shoutout to bunny boi Jax for this one~ It really did come out of nowhere yet again, but I was semi-asking for it when I suggested he draw characters and/or themes he liked since he was struggling to get stuff done xP It's all in good fun though and the end result is lovely~

This'll be a pairing I hope to show more of sometime in the future. Whether that's drawing/writing it myself or commissioning others.
