The new and updated prices and information!

NOTE: This is not indicating when commissions are open. There will be a journal telling when they are.

COMPLEX DESIGNS NOTE: Things like centaur bodies, wings, very detailed characters and shredded muscles can add to the price of the piece if I expect it to add a lot of extra work.


PROCEDURE:
When I post a journal saying I'm open of commissions, you can send me me a PM including the rough details of your commission, and any refs required to give me an idea of what you want. When I close up, I will reply back to you if I chose to do yours.

Commissions are NOT first come first serve. Instead I have an open window of time, usually about three days to a week, where people can send me a PM and I will pick those I like the most at the end.

If I pick yours I will then either ask for full details, or begin doing one or several thumbnail sketches of your idea.
Payment is taken AFTER one of these has been accepted. After which I will then do the proper sketch of the piece and show you again, and then I will generally finish the piece before showing you again.
Progress will be halted until I'm paid after the thumbnail sketch(es) are shown.

Once finished, you are free to upload it anywhere you want, as long as I'm properly credited. And unless told to keep it secret, I will do the same. I will however post regardless if you post it as well.


SLOTS:
Instead of using the standard per image / per commissioner slot system, I use a point system.
Simply put, a commission is given a set of points based on how long I estimate it to take me to draw it.
This way, I can take on a more natural and predictable amount of work in terms of hours spent drawing in total. And to take in more people if there's a lot who want coloured sketches.
The points for the base of each quality can be seen in the corners, being the grey numbers. Extra characters and backgrounds can add to these numbers, as you'd might imagine.


REFUNDS:
Once a commission has been paid for, any refunds will be based on how far I got into the piece.
For example, if you commissioned a full shade piece - 90 USD - and I only got to the sketch, I would refund the remaining 60 USD and you'd be given the sketch, optionally made into a coloured sketch piece.
However if I completed the lines you would be refunded the remaining 30 USD, and given the linework. Also optionally made into a Quick Shade piece.


OTHER:

I can refuse to take a commission for any reason. Mainly caused by things like bad behaviour on the commissioners half, or past negative experiences with working with them.

If you're going to be very picky about details; Be as precise and detailed as possible in your description, and point out details an artist might easily miss while working.

I don't charge for revisions as of now, but too many will make me less likely to take another commission from you unless it's due to mistakes I've done with the character details.

Before you have been given a thumbnail and the commission is paid for, please be patient. And even after it's paid for, I'd prefer that you didn't ask for updates every day. Once paid an commission should normally be finished within one to three weeks, depending on my work load, mood swings and day job.

If you're hurting for cash just as I open up but get paid soon after, I can agree to doing yours later on in the list.


UPGRADING:
If you want to upgrade your commission to a higher quality, then it's taking what i'd cost in the upgraded quality, minus what you paid originally.

HOWEVER, if you want to go from Lines - Quick Shade / Cel Shade to Full Shade you have to inform me of this when originally commissioning me! I often delete CSP files I don't need anymore, and so I'd might have to redo the linework. And if so, then it'd be priced as if you were upgrading a sketch to Lines - Full Shade.


PAYMENT METHOD:
I use Paypal only*. Once it's time to pay I send a Paypal.me link with the right sum. I pay the paypal fee.

*Norwegian commissioners can pay via Vipps if they want to. Prices will be adjusted to NOK based on the current value conversion, and then rounded off to the closes 10 NOK
