If that question about why people like Adrena so much is real and not rhetorical or anything, then I have my answer at least. For me, Its because she's the kind of dragoness that seems like it'd be fun and enjoyable to hang out with, but at the same time she's also the type that isn't afraid to call someone out on their BS and kick someone's butt if needed. That's just my opinion, though. Can't speak for the rest of the fan base.
