Dating the Enemy By TastyBisexual -- Report

This is definitely a preparation focused story, and it’s kind of the start to a series of character introduction stories I’m doing to setup the world. I’m trying to keep a steady plot as I introduce the characters, but once I have that done I’ll be able to do more freeform stuff.

If you see something you like, let me know. I'm trying to improve as a writer and I'll never get better without feedback.

Loved it! There aren't enough stories that spend time enjoying the prepwork, which is a big part of what got me writing. The byplay between the characters was fun and hot, and nonfatal painless cooking vore is another welcome rarity. The hints about the setting sound interesting, so I look forward to seeing you flesh it out. Now I should stop rambling and get back to writing my own cooking story, if I want it done by 8/8, but very well done!

Thanks

I have a lot of ideas for the setting that I'm trying to get across. In my "Interview with a Villain" story I try to get some of them across without just writing it up as an infodump and posting it separate from the story.

The characters are my favorite part to write, and they are honestly the main reason I went with having resurrection be a common thing in the setting: You can't really have a recurring cast of prey without either keeping everything disconnected or having a way for them to come back after being eaten.

And I just remembered 8/8 is a thing. Oh well, I'll try to get a follow-up to "Interview with a villain" up then, where's Blake's two love interests meet up, but I don't know if I'll be able to get anything as big as this out, this took a whole Sunday of fighting ADHD and I have work tomorrow.

Anyways, thanks for the comment. It's always nice to get a feeling for what my audience likes.

Well I'm sure a nice piece of meat like you would be easily able to find some hungry villain to cook you up if you lived in this world.
