Sam doesn't find very many people who aren't intimidated by her size or klutziness. So, when she finds a small fox who is cute and doesn't seem to have a single fear about her, she disregards all the warnings she's heard and builds up the courage to ask him out. Sadly, the two have a lot of debt, so dinner and some window shopping is the best they can do...thankfully for the kobolds of Lark.

Lark makes for a fantastic setting for silly. Also, Sam's last name being similar to the head of the OWO (whom I have mentioned in prior stories) is purely coincidence. Not sure if this is canon or not, but...hey, it's close enough and awkward enough to work~

Don't let two similarly accident-prone people be together. At least Maven and Danny are accident-prone in DIFFERENT ways, so the world can withstand it a little better. x3
