I liked this a lot! I like this universe, and the casualness with which the humans and dragons coexist. I kinda saw the ending coming, but that doesn't make the story any less good XD

It ver bittersweet, makes me hope maybe the dragoness stop digestion when she realised who the humans were and they had a inch of life left in them, she simply planning to surprise her mate with a gift for her mate friends and a pet.

it is bittersweet... and unfortunate for the humans. The way it turned out was meant to be, tragic... and I guess show off the, dark issues with the species living so close
