Hot off the heels of my first YCH order, I was struck with inspiration for willudie's next one featuring a large lady unbirthing another woman.
See, ever since Rosalina's corruption I've had the idea that she'd serve as a "brood mother" of sorts for the Phazon army. The idea being she would unbirth the prey brought to her and incubate them until the were loyal corrupted soldiers. This YCH was the absolute perfect opportunity to start touching on that idea because I'd like this "brood mother" Rosalina to be about this size. I also wanted to go ahead and get the concept that she'd be wrapped/coiled by tentacle clothing much like we see here. In the future I may design a more full outfit for her, but this gets the idea across splendidly~
I'm not sure if I'll count "brood mother" Rosalina as a member of the Queen's Guard, but she'll definitely be a key asset to Dark Samus.
Also, the prey here is the White Mage from the Final Fantasy series who had some guest appearances in the Mario sports games. Only know about her thanks to one or two artists I follow but I like her design and she complements Rosalina pretty nicely so paired them up for this one.

Definitely want to return to Cosmic Rosalina, just juggling so many different characters and ideas recently haha
