During the love-dominated day of Valentines, you find yourself looking all over Ram Village in search for a lovely woman who, many months after the war, had since lost her spark in finding love. Just as you prepare to leave the village after having no luck in your search, she suddenly returns, her face drowned in sorrow & with a little hesitation, asks you to come with her.

With the only true friend she made during the war being too busy, it appears you have to be her shoulder to lean on.

Happy Valentines Day, everyone! It may come to a shock for people but, Valentines is hardly a favourite holiday of mine, at least in terms of celebrating it… BUT, in terms of reading & writing literature of it, as well as thinking of scenarios for it, in those cases my god I looove this holiday! It's no secret that I adore sickly sweet scenarios, whether it be for love or other intentions, & it shouldn't come as a surprise that that’s exactly what I did for this Valentines story~

So, Faye got a Valentines alt in Heroes & to absolutely no one’s surprise, she landed a bullseye on my heart the moment I saw her! There's a lot I could do for her, especially with the setting I decided on, being a time where months have passed after the war in Valentia ended. If you’ve seen her supports with Alm, you’d know that her feelings for him, feelings that had lasted since childhood after he saved her aren't reciprocated back. I’d imagine that leaving a devastating impact on her views on love & even just friendship, so I decided to try to experiment with that premise for this story. Faye deserved a much better hand than what she was dealt in life, having her knight in shining armour shoot down her feelings for him after years of harbouring them, & if tne game itself isn’t gonna do that with that somber ending she gets, I’ll do so myself.

At least she does gain her first real friend in Silque, & I was super happy to see their friendship acknowledged in Heroes with their Valentines alts~ :3

One more general thing I have to mention is that I did originally have two Valentines stories planned, the second one being for Mist, but I decided I really should take the advice others have been giving me, that being not to overwork myself. I will write something for Mist with her Valentines spirit soon, but not now unfortunately.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I had fun writing it~! It may not be my favourite holiday to celebrate, but maaan is it fun & enjoyable to write raw fluffy lovey-dovey stories~
