Though her visits to cities are becoming less frequent (which coincides with the reports of entire fields of livestock going missing) she does show up in urban environments from time to time. She has learned to “round up” her prey – They all run down a road away from her, so she postures herself, making herself look bigger, as a thing to fear, then rushes around a few blocks to get more heading in the same direction.

The panicked crowds would collide into each other before Kari comes in to eat as many as she can, grabbing people by the hand full. She's less careful with them than she used to be, more missing her open maw than actually falling in, but this works for her as well. Those that land are usually too winded to keep running, or they dangle on her and become an easy extra. When there's not enough to keep going, she'll repeat the process, those who did end up in her belly would be thrown around inside the spacious stomach.

By the time she's stopped to clean, there are usually around a hundred people in her stomach. Cramped in on top of one another, at the mercy of her digestive enzymes. Sometimes she'd sleep in the city somewhere, or make the short journey to the outskirts into somewhere more private.
