By the Shield Hero’s request, Raphtalia & Filo head to the market for supplies but their trip is very quickly disrupted from the Filolial growing extremely hungry. Much to Raphtalia’s annoyance, Filo hatches a plan & immediately acts on it, deciding to abandon the shopping trip & head back to the castle to find her Master.

I’m surprised it took me just over 9 months to write my second story on Shield Hero but regardless, the new story is finally here, this time focusing on the voracious bird, Filo!

Y’know, it amazes me that I managed to write a shorter story, or well if you consider just under 6,000 words to be short which I personally do, but a shorter length certainly fits the overall rather silly tone of this story.

I really enjoyed writing Filo & Raphtalia in particular here & the clash over their feelings for Naofumi, especially the latter. Considering how much of an airhead Filo is, I got to play around with her oblivious teasing to both her Master & Raph - definitely gotta be something I should explore more in a longer story, that's for sure~

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I had fun writing it~!... Uhh, hmm… what to put here… ah! Naofumi is such a lucky son of a bi- oooo gun… I mean gun - he’s a lucky son of a gun to have Raphtalia & Filo as close companions. :3
