While I love buff, massive feral preds, I also have a particular fondness for those who have more of a slender build, with a very thin midsection; there's quite an appeal to them, mostly the idea of their narrow body being able to hold a massive meal nonetheless.
I got inspired by this video I found yesterday; those wolf ennemies (boss ?) are exactly what I like about this kind of preds, and the way they just arch their back and lift their head when they give the final gulp... All it lacks is a noisy, wet swallowing sound and a bulge for it to be perfect !
I already have Gargantor when it comes to chonk feral preds, but those wolves made me want to create a character with a similar body type and... Here's the result so far !
I'll get more into details when I upload the finished lineart; just wanted to share the WIP for now :3

I'm liking the look of this one so far! Pity we can't see the party squirming and bulging out their demise in his gut, but the swallow is great, and party kills are a great theme in general~

Not sure if it is tight enough for the pressure from a bought of gas to blast through metal.

I've been considering drawing a post-vore pic where the pred would accidentally fart out part of their prey's remains, but I don't know yet which one of my characters I'll use for that.

Since you said accidentally, a example could be something like your hyena anthro having a bad day.
Her pants ripped in public while trying to explain that she is not dangerous but then she rips a loud one that launches out a cell phone that someone talking on the other end "Hello ___ are you there?".

Except Jack (my hyena gal) would never pretend that she's not dangerous; she's pretty open about the fact that she's got a body count in the triple digits :'3

In that case this instead of trying not to be scary and failing it would be trying to be scary and failing.
If she has eaten someone that was carrying party supplies, her gas could shoot out streamers.
