I'm trying to make a change to my style here, starting with Juniper herself.
(as for why the style change, I go into it a little here: https://aryion.com/g4/blog.php?id=53269 )

I'm taking some cues from comics I used to read in my teens, like Lenore, JtHM, and others. Also wanted to make Juniper look a little less young.

These might not be solid, and I have other characters to think of, so any comments about what could be improved are welcome.

So comparing the old and new designs, I've give my thoughts as best I can. First minor thing and it isn't related to either, I really like your handwriting. It's got a distinct fanciness to it, that I really like. ^^:

The new shade of purple over blue is the first significant change and it suggests a change to the characters. Like they've gone from a more calm and passive persona's to more proactive. Juniper's previous outfit had more layers and removing those layers makes her seem less sheltered or shy? I think it's a good look with her newer outfit, I like the new shoes and dress combo. Although I do hope to see the older outfit pop up now and again, as it does look like it'd be kinda cozy in winter. (Probably stored away in a wardrobe for now.)

I like Nibblestitch's physical changes, they're notable but not immediately apparent. The thicker rings and triple lashes around the eyes, plus the thicker outline on the mouth are nice, as they draw attention to both a lot more. The ear design I like, as they make Nibblestitch feel more handmade, like whoever stitched her together, didn't consider stitching in the internal ear structure. Making them a little more floppy, almost looking like burlap sacks. Also I dunno if this is just a quirk of you art or if it was intentional, but Nibblestitch's fingers seem more slender and point and by proxy, feline?

Bat Juniper's design is nice, it's similar but feels less compact. The lack of a rounder nose, also makes her seem more bat-like. Only thing I'd say it needs is a little reinforcement for the wings to fly, little bones in the wing-membrane to help with lift and flight.

Thanks - actually, I'm using the style of text I use for my personal journals and such, pretty different from how I normally would do text in a cartoon, but I think I'll stick with it here.

I'll be honest, the colours here weren't meant to be all purple, I was just working with what I had with me again/ I think I'll be keeping them the shade of dull, dark blue I normally use - close to what a juniper berry looks like. Nibblestitch is woven from Juniper's hair, at least in the doll form (which I didn't bother with for this pic).

Less shy works well! This outfit, like her old one, is just based on actual items in my wardrobe. I'll probably have older stuff pop up, maybe to represent Juniper's preyish side.

I definitely like how Nibblestitch's changes are coming across, especially more hand made. How you described is just what I was going for with her ears. Though I'm not sure all the thicker lines are official or not. This is the first pic I've done in a while, I'm surprised it came out even this good...

It is a quirk to make fingers long and slender, mostly because of my own hands, but it also adds age and maturity to a character, besides just feminine and somewhat "cat-like" (which is something I've been called in real life many times).

Wait... ugh, I did forget to put lines in! I can just slightly make out the purple lines that were there! But I was still planning those lines to be more subtle than the old design, since she isn't technically using the wings to fly, they kind of hang off her arms like fabric...

I love Nibblestitch's wild eyes and wicked smile. It's even more indicative of the Cheshire Cat than before.

Oh good! I was hoping to get a more sinister look out of Nibblestitch, and definitely show more of that Cheshire Cat inspiration.

Hmm, I like it, it gives a more 'fiendish' look to them.
I thought about saying I will kinda miss the 'chonkier' Nibblestitch, but I suppose I haven't really seen anything below the chest to make that comparison.

I thought they'd look better a bit more fiendish. Vore can get kinda dark after all.

Nibblestitch's body shape is flexible, depending on what the situation calls for. She could make herself the same size and shape as Juniper, or massive and chonky as she likes!

Juniper seems...rather less friendly. O_o Like, not entirely unfriendly just...a bit scary.

Hehe, well, she shouldn't seem too friendly, being a vampire and all! I want her pred side to come out a bit more!
