It was a warm summer's afternoon in Ponyville. Bird's were chirping, and ponies of all kinds were enjoying the sun as a pleasant breeze whipped through the trees.

Twilight Sparkle and Apple Jack finished their cakes in the Ponyville Café's garden when suddenly, Twilight broke the silence by casually asking “Does it worry you that I'm gonna eat you some day?” She set down her fork and wiped her mouth with a napkin.

“Huh..?”

It had been 3 months since Fluttershy had been consumed, and in that time Twilight had only eaten two other ponies. Apple Jack had suspected that she would be following the yellow Pegasus into her friend's gurgling belly shortly afterwards, but as the days turned into weeks and months, she began to wonder...

Apple Jack had, like the others, initially tried to distance herself from the purple princess, but she quickly realised that if Twilight really wanted her, then 'distance' wasn't going to help. Also, she naively thought that Twilight might be slightly less willing to make a meal out of her if they became closer friends.

The unlikely pair began to grow closer quite naturally. Now that half the Mane 6 were nothing more than piles of dusty bones somewhere, there weren't many options left for socialising. They went to the spar together, they went to the market together, and generally just hung out when there was nothing else going on.

Twilight never spoke about Fluttershy, Rarity, or Rainbow Dash – or eating ponies in general. In fact, if Apple Jack didn't know about Twilight's previous exploits, she would have thought everything seemed completely normal.

Twilight continued, “Well, I ate the others after all... so you obviously knew it had to be your turn at some point.” She smiled pleasantly, as if they were having a conversation about the weather.

After so many months of silence, the question came out of nowhere, and Apple Jack struggled with a sudden mix of emotions as she fought to find words. “Uh.. Ah mean.. yeah Ah suppose Ah always knew you were gunna...” she trailed off.

“Are you scared?” Twilight asked.

“Uh.. well, Ah don't really wanna...” she gulped “die or nuthin', but Granny Smith always said 'Ain't no point in worryin' bout things ya cain't change!'” she looked away. “Still though... Ah cain't help but think about what'll happ'n t' Apple Bloom when Ah'm gone... Also, of all the ways to go, bein'... digested alive sounds kinda...” she trailed off again.

“Oh don't worry about that.” Twilight said reassuringly, “although it will hurt somewhat, Rarity was screaming in pleasure right up until the end” she smiled. “In fact, in her last moments she even thanked me for the experience and said that she wished I had eaten her sooner!”

Apple Jack wasn't convinced, but nevertheless thanked the Princess for trying to ease her fears.

“As far as Apple Bloom goes,” Twilight went on, “would you feel better if I promised to eat her and her friends once I've pooped you out? I mean... you wouldn't have to worry about her growing up without her big sister then!” Twilight grinned, pleased that she had come up with such an ingenious solution on the spot. “Actually...” she placed a hoof to her chin “I've never eaten a filly before... I wonder what 3 fillies squirming around inside me would feel like...” she looked down at her belly and bit her lip.

Apple Jack shifted awkwardly and coughed to try and break the alicorn out of her daydream “Uh... Ah know Ah don't have any right t' ask, but if it's all the same, couldn't you wait until she's... 'grown up' a bit before you eat her? Ah mean, that way she'd have even more.. um.. 'meat' wouldn't she?” Apple Jack tried her best to sound convincing.

Twilight snapped out of her haze and stared at Apple Jack “Oh, that doesn't bother me. There are plenty of adults around to eat when I need the nourishment... I kinda just want to know what she'll taste like, now.” A small droplet of drool appeared at the corner of her mouth as her eyes briefly glazed over, but she quickly shook herself out of it “And if she's going to end up in my belly anyway, what difference does it make if it's now or in a few years? She's just food, like everypony else.”

“Yeah Ah s'pose yer right”, Apple Jack relented. She knew that trying to sway Twilight's decision was a long shot and hadn't expected it to work, she just wished she hadn't said anything. All it took was a single careless remark, and now her sister was never going to get to grow up. She shook her head to try and clear the guilt, telling herself that Twilight would probably have thought about eating her at some point anyway.

Twilight moved the conversation onto another topic, and the pair continued to chat for another half hour, before they got up and walked back out to the street.

As Apple Jack was about to wish Twilight a good evening and head home, Twilight suddenly turned to her and asked: “Would you mind coming over to the castle tonight around 7 please? I'd like to have you for dinner. Oh! And could you bring a few apples for garnish?”

Apple Jack's eyes shot open and her back went rigid for a moment, but being the practical realist that she was, she knew on some level that this was coming as soon as Twilight had broached the subject earlier. Quickly calming herself, she managed to reply, “S-Sure thing, sugar cube...” she said as she turned away.

Twilight noted that Apple Jack's response wasn't delivered in her usual upbeat manner, but decided to ignore it. Since she was now a seasoned predator, and was likely never going to be a meal herself, she found it difficult to empathise with what her meals were thinking. Logically though, she guessed that it might be difficult for some ponies to hear that they're about to die. “Thanks AJ!” she beamed “Are you going to say goodbye to Apple Bloom, or would you like me to tell her once you're gone?”

Apple Jack paused “Uh.. no. No that's alright Ah'll tell her mahself... thank you though.”

“Great! In that case, would you mind letting her know that I'm going to be eating her – along with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo – the Thursday after next? That should give me enough time to process you and work off any excess fat.”

“Umm... yeah Ah can do that, but do y' mind me askin' why ya want me to tell her in advance?”

“Oh it's just an experiment really,” Twilight explained, waving a hoof in the air. “Everypony I've eaten up until now has had very little prior warning, I want to know how pony's react when they have some time to think about what's going to happen.”

“Ah see.. would y' like me t' tell Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo as well then?”

“Nah that's fine, Apple Bloom will probably let them know I'm sure” Twilight smiled and turned away “Welp, see you later!” she winked and jumped into the air, flying off into the sky.

Apple Jack shook her head, *Ah knew this weren't gonna be a normal day...* she thought to herself, before setting off back to Sweet Apple Acres.

“Glad you could make it!” Twilight beamed as she opened the door and greeted Apple Jack. “Come on in.”

Apple Jack glanced around uneasily as she stepped over the threshold, knowing it would be the last time she ever saw the outside world. Twilight lead them down a series of winding passageways into the castle. Apple Jack knew the layout well enough to know that Twilight was leading her to the library, but why? It seemed like an odd place to have a meal.

“There's something I wanted to show you before you... go” Twilight explained, sensing the confusion in her friend.

When they arrived, Twilight lead Apple Jack over to a series of pedestals, and Apple Jack had to stifle a gasp as she saw what adorned them. Of the four pedestals, three had skulls on them, and as Apple Jack approached, she saw that there were name plates on each one.

The pedestals with skulls were labelled “Rainbow Dash”, “Rarity”, and “Fluttershy”. The empty one however... simply said “Apple Jack”.

Twilight walked over to Rainbow's skull and began gently caressing it, explaining “I've been secretly saving your skulls once I poop you out! I have Spike clean them off for me, then I display them here. What do you think?” she asked excitedly.

Apple Jack didn't know what to say. “Uh.. no offence sugar cube, but isn't this, um.. kinda weird?”

Twilight scoffed “Pfft, Whaaat? No! This way I have a memento to remind me of when you were all churning away inside me! Sometimes I take a skull to my bed chamber and masturbate while holding it and thinking about how it was once a living pony.” She closed her eyes briefly, but quickly opened them again as she gestured enthusiastically to the empty pedestal with Apple Jack's name on it “This'll be where you end up!”

Apple Jack's eyes widened and she blushed, taken aback at Twilight's language.

Twilight's brow furrowed into a look of concern. “Don't you like it? If you'd rather have your skull rest next to somepony else I can rearrange them...? I'll even put your hat on top!”

“Uh.. Ah mean, it just feels kinda weird knowing that yer gonna use my remains as a sex toy after yer've... killed me is all...”

Twilight laughed “Why would you care what I do with your remains? You'll be dead!”

Apple Jack signed “Yeah Ah guess yer right”.

The pair left the library, and Twilight lead them to the map room, where a large metal platter was waiting on the circular meeting table in the centre of the room.

Apple Jack approached, and placed a small saddle bag on the table.

“Are those the apples?” Twilight asked, eyeing the sturdy leather satchel as she hopped up onto her seat.

“Yeah, fresh from the orchard like y' requested.”

“Great!” Twilight handed the earth pony a knife and asked her to cut a couple into slices and place them around the platter.

Apple Jack hesitated for a moment, but was soon done – her practised hooves making quick work of the task.

Twilight then instructed her to open her mouth, which she did after giving a confused look. Twilight took one of the remaining apples from the bag and pushed it firmly into Apple Jack's open maw, causing the earth pony to wince slightly. Twilight then relaxed back into her chair and gestured towards the platter “Climb up...”

Apple Jack wondered why Twilight didn't simply levitate her into position – she knew that Twilight usually liked to make her meals feel powerless – but she quickly complied, hoisting herself up onto the round table and crawling onto the platter, placing her rear at the back and then setting herself down so that she was laying on her front.

“Did you tell Apple Bloom that I'm going to eat her?” Twilight asked serenely, stroking Apple Jack's cheek.

Apple Jack nodded, unable to speak around the apple that was stuffed into her mouth.

“Wonderful...” Twilight whispered as she lowered her head and began to nuzzle Apple Jack's face, closing her eyes and just savouring the scent for a moment. “You smell delicious” she cooed. She took a firm hold of Apple Jacks head and planted a long lick up one side of her face “Mmm, you taste delicious too... I can't wait to wrap my mouth around all of your succulent flesh...”

Apple Jack tried to look away, but Twilight grabbed her attention once more as her maw slowly yawned open, dripping with saliva and revealing her tight wet throat, descending into darkness. She couldn't help but stare into the gaping abyss as it loomed closer, knowing it was going to be the last thing she ever saw. She closed her eyes as it reached her face and began to stretch around her head. She felt Twilight's tongue moving under her chin as her snout was pushed into the awaiting gullet.

Twilight took the first solid gulp of the meal, sending Apple Jacks entire head down her throat and bringing her shoulders and chest into her mouth.

Apple Jack tensed at the sudden motion, marveling at how effortless it was and wondering if Twilight was simply going to swallow her down in one gulp, but she relaxed again as she heard Twilight moan softly and lick her chest.

Apple Jack tried to remain limp as she felt Twilight's mouth slowly slide it's way down her tender body, past her lower ribs and stomach and finally coming to rest around her juicy round hips. As more and more of herself was consumed, she felt strange tingles start to run up her spine, like electricity, slowly building until she began to quiver. Subtly at first, but building every second. Her breaths grew heavy and she started to pant and gasp at the overwhelming sensations racking her body. The combined feeling of the throat muscles pummeling her upper body, and Twilight's teeth and tongue kneading her mid section was almost too much to bare, and without realising it, a quiet moan escaped her lips.

Twilight smiled, sensing her meal was softening up, and started licking her meal all over, moaning in pleasure as an explosion of flavour hit her tongue, in turn causing her meal to moan louder in unison.

This went on for several minutes, and Apple Jack noticed that at some point her body had begun to slowly gyrate as if of it's own accord.

Eventually though, the frenzied movement of Twilight's tongue ceased, and she took another gulp, swallowing her meal's hips and bringing the thighs into her mouth. At this point, she leaned back in her chair and hoisted Apple Jack's legs above her until they were vertical. She then stopped swallowing and let gravity slowly pull them inside, taking care to savour every inch of tasty flesh as it slid past her lips.

As the tips of Apple Jack's rear hooves brushed past her lips, Twilight closed her mouth around them and took one final gulp, causing Apple Jack to curl into a tight ball as her rear hooves sloshed in behind her.

“Oh sweet Celestia you tasted incredible!” Twilight yelled and smacked her stomach.

Apple Jack took a moment to catch her breath as she huffed, “Th-thank you, Ah'm glad ya... enjoyed me!”

“Oh yeah, I think you're gonna be really fun to digest...”

“You... you think so?”

“Absolutely! I didn't say so before, but Fluttershy struggled a little with being churned into mush. With all her animals depending on her, she had more to 'live for', so to speak, and so was never able to fully accept what was happening. She continued to believe she was still a pony until she lost consciousness after a few days.” Twilight closed her eyes and smiled, remembering all the animals staring at her as the sounds of Fluttershy's whimpers and moans escaped her belly.

“Did... did she beg you to let her out?” Apple Jack bit her lip, knowing that Fluttershy had been inside this very same belly just months previously. She closed her eyes herself and imagined the yellow pegasus slowly melting away.

“No not exactly. She accepted her fate, but she did try to dissuade me from eating her initially, and she whimpered and screamed a bit while she dissolved.”

Apple Jack let out a small gasp as another quiver of excitement ran up her spine.

Twilight continued “But you're like Rarity and Rainbow, you know you're just a lump of meat now. I'm going to enjoy slowly melting you down into nutrients and poop while you feel your life slip away.”

Every word from the princess brought Apple Jack closer to the edge, and upon hearing her former friend talk so casually about her imminent demise, she lost all control and her body was racked with wave after wave of intense pleasure.

After a while, Twilight yawned as she grew sleepy. “Welp, I'm gonna take a nap” she said gently as she caressed her wriggling belly. Apple Jack was too enraptured to respond however, so Twilight simply teleported herself to bed and lay back against the pillows, allowing her huge belly to hang out in front of her.

“Th-thank you f-for eating me...” Apple Jack gasped between breaths.

“No problem,” Twilight said, yawning again. “Glad to see a pony that knows their place. I hope you have fun *yawn* turning into poop!”

With that, Twilight closed her eyes and fell asleep, luxuriating in the feeling of the still living pony churning away inside her.
