A rough animation of how an mosquito girl might mate and feed. Like other newer animations here I'll likely revise/improve over time, so comments are handy.

A "mosquito girl" is one of many anthros that uses sexual attraction to her advantage. She's only a parasite, so her prey will be fine... eventually; I'd say it takes about two weeks to recover from this kind of feeding. I'll add sthe eventual egg-laying sequence later.

I've seen some drawings where the mosquito's proboscis is where it's supposed to be and... something not realistic about it; she wouldn't be able to speak. This one hides her apparatus away, in a place necessarily pressed against her victim. As a bonus, she has two of them, for quicker feeding. She'd be able to steer her needles like a mosquito: I just didn't animate that.

Human arms and legs were another design choice. These kinds of creatures are human mimics: they survive because they look human enough to successfully seduce their prey; insect legs might be off-putting. This victim likely thought the tail and antennae were just decoration, and by the time he realized he was actually being fed upon, it was too late to stop her. Her anaesthetic/anticoagulant tends to sedate her host until she's done feeding, and for a little while after.

He'll get hard-to-explain swelling later on at the bite locations; but probably wouldn't be completely averse to feeding her again in a couple of weeks.

This has some good ideas.
Be nice to also see her pounce or take down her prey.

Thanks! I don't think this one "pounces" so much as seduces. As of right now I haven't quite worked out what the full life cycle might be: one successful approach might be that her eggs hatch into some kind of insect that seeks out and infects human women, turning them into (fully grown) mosquito-girls.
