Actually in real life, everyone starts as a female and the body changes to male if the right chromozones are there. Basically the ovaries change production and descend while the clitoris elongates and becomes multifunctional.

Sorry - was too quick on that description: meant that since an (adult) woman's genitals can easily "swallow" a man's (as in intercourse - her sex organ is larger, it's just internal), we could animate something similar in a self-transformation just to see how it would look.

In real life it's pretty fascinating. Groblek's link is useful, but there's also a lot more on the topic. The male equivalent of the clitoris is the sensitive spot just below the glans - it's the same structure, but in a woman's body it's larger, Y-shaped, and wraps around the vagina. The penis is really the equivalent of a woman's labia (majora), which is why in "Rebirth" the urethra starts to stretch downwards and become larger to form her new genital opening.

Here, there's no age regression involved so we have some poetic license in how it happens. I think, if we ever really master "writing" our own genetics, that transformations would be programmed too, just like growth is. You'd have to encode a survivable and efficient route from A to B, not just the end state.

These are interesting, and it’s good to see you animating again!

My feedback is from the bio-geek side, I’d suggest pulling up a reference image or two on human sex differentiation like this one: https://images.app.goo.gl/yJvFYBCADaCeofbU8
Then animate the male side reversing to the “bipotential” stage, followed by advancing down the female differentiation pathway. (With the reverse for a ftm switch)
