Hey, remember when I said in my blog, that this story was going to be out in "the next few days", and was "about two thirds done" at 8.5k words?

I was wrong. Very, very wrong. The more I wrote, the more ideas I got, and the more I wanted to add onto this to make it special, since it's the first fully original, characters-and-concept-both-from-me story I've written since literally Vore Day of last year - since I'm not really counting the vignettes for art commissions I get.

This story sees Beatrice von Teutoberg in action at last, after having a frankly explosively popular design reveal, and she's accompanied by her spider boy friend-and-possibly-boyfriend, Elis A. Cavatica! I had a lot of fun fleshing out their relationship, the teasing, and all that good, yummy stuff.

There's a bit of lore stuff in this one that I aim to elaborate upon in further stories; the Refused, in particular. You may have also noticed that, throughout this story, I call Elis an "aranea" - this is what I think spider people would be called, in the Ittsuverse, since it's more specific than "arachne", and it doesn't imply a dark elf half, like "drider". The term "aranea" comes directly from the name of the Order which encompasses spiders, in particular, as opposed to all arachnids, which would include scorpions, mites, and so on. (For tagging purposes, though, I will still refer to him as an "arachne".)

It's on the longer side, for sure, but there's a lot of juicy action here! So, it should be worth the time to read in full.
