I feel like I needed to give the girls an unambiguous win. If it's just misery or recovering from misery all the time, the misery loses its edge, and then what do I torture you all with later?

Which isn't to say there's no plot. The nice thing about vore is it gives you a nice, clean arc structure. Someone is alive, and then--slowly and excruciatingly--they're not.
