The friendly Venusian girl is showing the astronauts some of their biology.
(pseudo-science rationalization)
The swallowing is based on the idea that venus in the past was once earth-like, so the species biology was meant to function at lower temperatures.
As the temperatures increase, their exterior evolved to survive the harsh environment, but their insides still function at low temperatures.
So if injured, an ally will pull them into a safe, cool, acid-free environment.

The healing is the swallowed Venusian's own natural healing process.
It can't heal human, but if their astronaut suits were starting to weaken, swallowing them would protect from the atmosphere.
we'll have to wait and see

That's pretty neat. Hope they'll stay on friendly terms. I kinda like them this way.
Any plans on doing any of the other planets? Like marsians or jupiterians or something like that?

You need to copypaste the entire thing instead of clicking it. It works for me when i do that, as only half of the link is blue/clickable. Try again, but where you copypaste it and puts it in the tab.

also, yes it's hot. The surface of venus is about 880 degrees Fahrenheit. (471 Celsius)
