Maybe it's just my thalassophobia but I absolutly loved this part
"You have no idea how tenuous is the barrier protecting your world. Leviathans, hiding deep inside your oceans. Just below reality."
Definitely gonna take this as inspiration for some writing.

Little sentences like this immediately give a new sense of perspective to the story. There always is a bigger fish.
