I remember there being an episode where Brad finally caves and marries Tammy and almost immediately tries to get a divorce because she starts forcing some petplay stuff on him that he wasn't comfortable with. And as it turns out, the custom for divorce of Tammy's species involves the bride "consuming the groom."
So technically this could follow the canon of the series lol
