"'Aanya the Opulent' they call me...?"

The massive hooded snake woman gently swirled a dark red in her chalice, her deep purple eyes gently flicking between her drink and the rest of the room. behind her left shoulder stood a younger looking snake than the grand matriarch. Stark white with red eyes and a dignified, if a little reserved and timid, stance.

"Quite the droll title for their ruler, I would think. Wouldn't you say?"

She whispered under her breath as she brought the drink to her mouth, sipping gently at it while reaching a hand over her monumental gut to stretch her robe over it. The jewelry on her hood jingling as she made a rough re-seating motion to assist in pulling her robe down.

"Yes, my lady."

The servant over her shoulder said in a soft-spoken, but not utterly whispered manner. Aanya herself blinked lazily, and from the pit of her stomach came an awakening growl. Her eyes opened a bit more than the usual half-lidded, glazed-over 'above-it-all' look she normally gave everything and everyone other than her food or those slated to be her food. By now it had been almost a year since her adventuring and campaigning came to an end, but her increasingly sedentary lifestyle of ruling, eating, and experimenting further with her magical powers left her nonetheless increasingly hungry, her fat serpentine gut eagerly awaited its meal with impatient growls and twinges of hunger pangs.

"Ugh, do check up on the kitchen staff would you, Cecil? I'm rather enjoying my break from the tedium of politics, but I must know what villainous universal force is withholding my next meal from me. If it is that oaf of an assistant who's made yet another delaying mistake then have him sent up here to serve the meal himself. I would so relish the opportunity to be well rid of that fool and augment my third lunch in one move."

"Yes, my lady. I will be back momentarily."

The smaller hooded snake graciously bowed, turning his body and having his tail follow behind him as the larger, titanic slug of a serpent casted a trifling spell for someone of her power. she reached for a staff as she set down her goblet, and with a wave of her hand, a muttering of arcane words, and a soft glow from the cobra-head of the staff, an invisible humanoid force was willed into existence next to her, almost as if to take the place of the servant who had left. With but a mere thought, the force began to meander its way over to a table where some leftovers from the last lunch sat, thick slices of meat all served on a platter. The silver plate floats off the table, held effortlessly aloft by her majesties arcane will, and gently is brought before her. With another wave and sibilant whisper, a spectral hand apparates over the platter, pinching a cut of meat and lifting it to dangle over her maw. In one quick motion it is dropped, snapped up, and swallowed without any further show. Her fat belly lets out a rumble of satisfaction, but even as she brought her hands over to rub it, she knew it would not be satisfied.

Her spectral hand and servant dumped more food into her awaiting gullet, each one disappears as a lump down her throat. Yet even as she gorged, she knew it would not be enough, silently, she hoped for any reason to get a person sized lunch...

it took me way too long to upload this! my very good friend and DM Lardizard got me some art of my DnD character and her cutie snake servant (his character who is not an adventurer).

For those wondering, she's a Yuan-Ti evocation wizard who also specializes is conjuration magic, cause lord knows when you get *That* big slithering around or riding carriages becomes less of an option when you're a world-breaking wizard who can be anywhere at almost any time.

Also she eats people. Not only because she's a snake, but because of a magical Yuan-Ti staff she received on one of her adventures that lets her perform supreme feats of gluttony.
