This story was won by bellyl0ver from my most recent Q&A and is the last story from its raffle. As usual with stories starring a certain fortune teller, the thumbnail was done by
Leshawk.
During a slow day at her shop, Maria is plagued by incoherent visions of a future she can’t understand. Though when she receives when an unexpected guest everything becomes clear as to why.
One of the more unique stories among the raffles I’ve done and I’m sure you’ll see why after reading.

I think my favorite part of this, aside from all of it, is the duality between the two Marias. The older one is more arrogant and ambitious while classic Maria is more cautious and responsible. The idea of the same person, but in a different timeline with a different personality, is one of my favorite type of stories. It shows where the character is now, as we know them, and where they could go and what they could be, like Hulk and Maestro. Anyway, great job writing this, I can’t get enough of it.

No longer having your magical abilities restrained and all of the people who can threaten you dealt with will go a long way.

Then it’s probably a good thing Maria has so many foes. Keeps her aware, and humble somewhat. I also forgot to mention, the lore you added to Maria is pretty interesting. She doesn’t quite have full control of her powers, her grandmother taught her magic before she unfortunately passed away, and she’s concerned how her younger self would turn out if future Maria taught her. Really shows a lot about who she is.

For a while I've been meaning to commission a slightly updated/tweaked reference pic for Classic!Maria that would include a bunch of lore that her initial pics and stories haven't really touched upon. Though, I haven't had much luck in that because for the most part there's a lot I'd be writing for it and I just cannot decide on anything for it.
