This is the first illustration (non-textured) for the "Accidental misunderstanding" story.

It is the scene where dragons and their two female friends/playthings, meets Moira, the host of the party.

What I discovered when drawing this picture, was how challenging it was to draw dragons up front. They are usually depicted sideways so I had few references to look at for inspiration and tips.

It was a week later when Tree and Xantos arrived by air at the destination given to them in the invitation. A pavilion of large, white tents had been set out on an open mountain plateau near a large, natural hot spring. As they approached they could see a number of the other people invited, as Sky had guessed many were indeed young, active, and rather tasty looking. They set down near the makeshift helicopter pad that had been set up to airlift in the guests, giving a smile to their rather bewildered attendant that was looking out at them from inside the pad's control tent. “Yes, hello!” Tree waved to the woman within the tent. “We are hereby invited. Can you direct us to the individual in charge of receiving us?”

The woman slowly lifted her phone, said a few words and then slowly set it back down again. Moments later, an Arabian lady with long, black hair that seemed to sparkle as if it had its own inner light stormed up to greet them. “Tree, Xantos... You are real dragons?” She shook her head. “This would explain things. Very well, my name is Moira, feel free to make yourselves at home. The hot spring is down the path from the main camp. Food is in the marked tent. Though…” She looked up at the two towering dragons. “I don't think we have enough on hand currently to accommodate your needs.”

“It won't be an issue.” Tree assured her. “We dragons can go days or even weeks between meals.”

She nodded. “Then I hope you enjoy yourselves. The recording label spared very few expenses putting this getaway together.”

“We will,” Tree grinned, strolling past her towards the main camp.

“Will we?” Xantos whispered, his eyes falling on a small group of women dressed in scanty swimwear as they left one of the tents, heading towards the hot spring.
